Sue Colwell Obituary

Sue Williams (Wallace) Colwell, 82, of 146 Coburn Avenue, Nashua, NH died on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, after a brief illness. She was born at Riverside Farm, Butts County, Georgia on November 13, 1919, daughter of the late Jonathan V. and M. Agnes (Williams) Wallace. A resident of Nashua since 1999, she had previously lived in Orlando, FL for 42 years. She was the widow of J. Milton 'Buck' Colwell who died in 1971. She was a warm and generous woman and a friend to all she met. Survivors include her daughter, Judith D. (Colwell) Hendrickson of Nashua, with whom she made her home; her sister, Elizabeth Schlender of Dixie, GA; her nephew, Vance H. Dukes and his wife Anne of Dixie, GA; and numerous other relatives. Funeral services will be held in the Haisten-Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1710 Highway 16 West, Griffin, GA on Tuesday at 9AM. Interment will follow. Contributions to The Salvation Army, 624 Lexington Ave., Orlando, FL 32801. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, Nashua, NH is in charge of arrangements.
