Terri Dudas Obituary

DUDAS, TERRI L. HICKS, Mrs. Terri L. Hicks Dudas, age 53 of Buford, GA, and formerly of Maitland, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 29, 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard C. Hicks. She is survived by her wonderful and loving husband of 27 years, Mr. Larry V. Dudas, her two precious children: son, Larry Vincent Dudas, Jr., and daughter, Melissa Gail Dudas, all of Buford, GA; mother, Mrs. Anita Parker Hicks, of Maitland; sister and brother-in-Law; Judy and Clark Lockridge of Ocala; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard C. Hicks, Jr. and Brenda of Daytona Beach; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Donna Dudas of Charlotte, NC, Joseph and Janet Dudas, Pittsburgh, PA, Phillip and Loretta Dudas of Hudson, OH; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Mrs. Dudas was born in Orlando on February 14, 1953. She was a majorette and 1971 graduate of Lyman High School and a 1973 graduated of South Seminole Community College. She was a loving wife, a wonderful Mother to her children, a dear daughter to her mother and a treasured friend. We will deeply miss her warm smile, her winning spirit, her heartfelt need to help others and her knack of making things fun. She had a tender heart when it came to the care of all animals and affectionately cared for her many pets through the years. She was an active member and volunteer of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch, GA. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 with interment at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. Terri was loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In memory of Terri donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Gwinnett County Unit, 6500 Sugerloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA or the Gwinnett County Humane Society, P.O. Box 750, Lawrenceville, GA., Attention: Memorial Gift Program.

Terri's Family,

This comes with a heavy heart and my deepest sympathy. I lived in English Estates on Worthington Road and Terri and I shared SSMS and LHS together along with many of the same friends. I know how she will be missed. You all are in my prayers.
