Wanda Zeigler Obituary

ZEIGLER, WANDA AUSTIN (HAMMOND), age 81, of
Orlando, FL passed away on November 9, 2008. Wanda was a hard working individual with a feisty personality who never backed down from any challenge. She was stubborn as a Missouri mule and had the "Show Me" spirit. She claimed to have kept the engineers straight at Martin Mari-
etta while she was employed there as a secretary. After leaving Martin Marietta, she became a professional Bee Keeper, using the proceeds to help pay for her daughters' education. She was a devout Christian who prayed both her daughters through law school. Wanda was also a wonderful cook who never felt the need to follow a recipe, and her family has fond memories of her "flubber". She cared deeply for her family and instilled her faith, grit, and determination in each of them. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Holly Hammond, second husband, Henry J. Zeigler, son, Shayne Hammond, and brothers, Wayne E. Austin and John T. (Mort) Austin. She is survived by her loving daughters, Liza Hammond and Kywa Hammond, son-in-law Brian Fallon, her beloved granddaughter, Caitriona
Fallon, sister, Betty Lou Kreller and brother-in-law Dale Kreller, sister-in-law, Stella Austin
Handel, special cousins,
Beverly Simpson and Marna Wane Imhoff, and a multitude of cousins, nephews and
nieces. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday,
November 22, 2008 at 10:30AM at the BALDWIN-FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME - WINTER GARDEN CHAPEL, 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. There will be an interment on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Please sign and view the family guest book at:
