William Champaigne Obituary

CHAMPAIGNE, WILLIAM D., 65, of Orlando, FL, (previously of Pittsford, NY), passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Champaigne and his brother and sister-in- law, John and Peggy Champaigne. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 46 years, Sally B. Champaigne, his children, William R. Champaigne, Paul D. Champaigne and his wife, Catherine E., all of Orlando, Brian P. Champaigne and his wife, Diane of Rochester, NY; and Brenda Marie O'Connor and husband, Leonard, of Orlando, FL, six grandchildren, Brian, Dana and Caitlin Champaigne of Rochester, NY, Caroline and Lauren Champaigne of Orlando and Liam O'Connor of Orlando; beloved mother, Dorothy Reed Champaigne of Kissimmee, FL; brother, Robert Champaigne and his wife, Sue, of Titusville, FL; nieces, Joanna Champaigne, of Austin, TX and Kayla Champaigne of Titusville, FL; great-aunt, Esther Scoll of Rochester, NY; aunts, Irene and Evelyn Champaigne of Rochester, NY; sister-in-law, Dawn M. Cobb, of Clifton Springs, NY and godchildren, David T. Cobb and Ellen Carr Fraese of Rochester, NY. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, from 4-7PM at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 525 S. Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando, FL at 11AM. A private interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery at the discretion of the family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in William D. Champaigne's memory to the John & Margaret Champaigne Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o of Finger Lakes Community College Foundation, Inc., 4355 Lakeshore Drive, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
