Jill Ann Roark

JILL ANN ROARK Jill Ann Roark, age 61 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Jill was born in Howell, Michigan, on December 29, 1964, to Gerald and Eleanor (Kissel) Miller. She attended Centerline High School, then attended and graduated with a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University. Jill married Jackie Roark on February 21, 2009, in Monroe, Michigan, at the Monroe Full Gospel Church. She worked in Plymouth, Michigan, as a Business Manager and also worked as a security guard for the state prison in Milan, Michigan. Jill and Jackie moved to Luzerne, Michigan, in 2014 from Belleville. Jill attended the Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church in Mio. She volunteered for the Oscoda County Red Cross and the Salvation Army. She was also active with Jackie in the Mio Masonic Lodge, and both were active members of the Lions Club. Jill is survived by her husband Jackie Roark; her children: Jackie Roark, Jr. (Kathy Teper), James (Gidget) Roark, and Jonathon Roark; her brother Bruce; her grandchildren: Heath (Rachel) Kirk, Ryan (Alyssa) Roark, Cody (Kendra) Roark, Kaiden Roark, and Kinsley and Grayson Roark; and her great-grandchildren Grayson and Penelope. She is also survived by her beloved fur baby, Amber, her nephew Adam Lietz, her nieces Courtney Sheldon and Lauren Richardson, her aunt Estelle Kirby, and her uncle Jerry Kissel. Jill was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lynn. Visitation on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 1 - 4 and 6 8 PM at the Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church, Mio, MI, and also on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 11 AM 1 PM, also at Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church, with Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Darryl Harless officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, Michigan. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church.  Memorial donations may be directed to Lydia's Gate, 115 Deyarmond Street, Mio, MI 48647.
