Melissa Keys Obituary
Melissa was born on March 15, 1986, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Lauri McLeod (Charters) and Daniel "Danny" Keys of Oscoda, , where she was raised. Melissa later moved to Manistee.
Melissa was kind, loving, and had a contagious laugh. She loved her family very much, especially her two beautiful daughters whom she was so proud of. Melissa will be dearly missed by many family and friends.
Melissa is survived by her parents; her daughters Emilee Mongeau and Marlee Jo Alexander; and her sisters Danielle (Matthew) Perkins, Sausha (Shaun) Lynch, Sharri (Ashton) Lloyd, and Elizabeth Warner. She is also survived by her dear soulmate and fiancé, Jim Magmer and his daughter Aliyha; her aunt and uncle Rich (Janet) Charters; and her cousins KayLee and Kyle Charters.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Grace Charters, Helen Brown and her aunt Georgia Williams.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. Burial will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery in Oscoda..

I met Melissa last year and fell in love with her immediately. She was so funny and always made me laugh. She was very caring and giving. If you needed something and she had it, she'd give it right to you. I will always remember the sound of her laugh. You will always be close to me heart Melissa. We have the same tattoo under our eye and I will think about you every time I look in the mirror and see my own tattoo. I love you Melissa!
