Arthur Tomlinson Obituary
Arthur D. Tomlinson, 95, of Midland passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2022. He was born in Jasper Township, MI on December 28, 1926 to the late G. Pearl and Jennie (Wagner) Tomlinson. Arthur graduated from Midland High School and served his country during WWII in the Navy before being honorably discharged in 1946. He married Ruth Betty Ruble on October 11, 1947 in Saginaw, MI and they shared 29 years together until she predeceased him on January 26, 1977.
Arthur worked for Dow Chemical and Dow Corning for 44.8 years retiring on December 31, 1991 at the age of 65. He enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, being with family and he loved his Detroit Tigers, Lions and Michigan Wolverines.
Arthur is survived by his son Robert A. Tomlinson, grandchildren; Pamela Tomlinson, Jon Leiner, Brian Tomlinson, Melissa Rautenberg, Heather Tomlinson, Michael Tomlinson, Amanda Suchadoll, and great grandchildren; Brenden Suchadoll Jr., Cami Rayne Suchadoll and Alex Leiner.
Along with his wife and parents, Arthur was predeceased by his sons; Ronald and Bradley Tomlinson, and siblings; Thelma Shaner, William (Bill) Tomlinson, Wilma Brown and Naomi Thurlow.
