Beatrice LeBlanc Obituary
Beatrice Henrietta LeBlanc died on February 24, 2023, at home with family by her side. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on May 11, 1928; one of five children of Harold and Luella (Peters) Haupt.
Beatrice loved making crafts and finishing crossword puzzles. For five summers, she ran the Hartwick Pines State Park Store. She was a loyal cashier working for Kroger Grocery Store for 28 years. Beatrice was a wonderful baker but truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beatrice married Armand Rudolph LeBlanc on July 2, 1948, in Bowling Green, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Beatrice is survived by her children Michael (Barbara) LeBlanc, James (Elizabeth) LeBlanc, Larry (Mary) LeBlanc, and Robin Stec; her grandchildren Laurie (Joey) Haws, Ryan (Shelly) LeBlanc, David (Tammy) LeBlanc, Mark (Robin) LeBlanc, Amanda (Michael) O'Dell, Jodie (Tim) Risnes, Megan (Chris) Koniecny, Robert M.D. (Kristen) Knapp, and Jessica (Jeff) Cyprus; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and her sister Irene.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Luella (Peters) Haupt; her son-in-law Ernest Stec; her brother Robert; and her sisters Betty and Juanita.
Funeral service Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 12:30 PM at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St., Midland. Family will greet guests on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials to Harmony Cares Hospice or Midland Senior Services would be appreciated.
