Dakota Lindemeyer Obituary

Dakota James Lindemeyer
Dakota James Lindemeyer, 23, who was an old soul with a heart of gold passed on from this world unexpectedly on Sunday September 29, 2024. Dakota began his journey on this earth on January 2, 2001 in Midland, Michigan. He was the son of Berry Lindemeyer and Cathy (Krenzke) Lindemeyer.
Dakota worked at Pro Finish Concrete and loved everything about the concrete business. He was a free spirit and loved being on the go never settling down anywhere very long. One thing constant in his life was his love of his family and all types of music especially country. He was a history buff, enjoyed going to the Hoosier National Forest, playing the guitar, and just being outdoors with nature. Dakota gave his life to Jesus on July 31, 2022 and is now experiencing the glory and beauty of following Him.
Survivors include his mother, Cathy Lindemeyer; father and step mother, Berry and Jana Lindemeyer; sister, Symonia Dae Horan and her husband Ryan and their children, Kaia, Kora and Kira; brother and best friend, Trevor Lindemeyer and his wife Vanessa and their children, Sophya, Gabriel, Isaiah, and Vayda.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Dakota's life will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Smithville Christian Church 7280 S. Fairfax Road Bloomington.

I only met Dakota a few times, but it was enough for me to know he was a really kind young man. We have cousins in common and I know he will be deeply, deeply missed by them. Kyle, Brad and Tim and Uncle Pat and Aunt Carin, I am so sorry for the loss of Dakota and the huge hole his passing has left in your lives. Love and prayers in the days ahead.
