Dennis Stillwell, 47, of Sanford, died suddenly the evening of Friday, May 19, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland. Son of Dennis (Sharon) Stillwell and Tommy Hanson, Dennis was born in Midland on February 10, 1976. After attending Dow High School, he entered the work force and was an operator for Miller Pipeline for many years. Dennis considered his work brothers his second family, spending weeks with them at a time. He loved his truck, Harley motorcycles, and hunting. He spent 30 years with Tonya, and together they had two hard working, loving boys who were their pride and joy. Dennis was a family man who loved his children with everything he had. He was strong-willed, made time for anyone, and would sacrifice anything without ever asking for returns.
Left to cherish Dennis' memory in addition to his parents are his fiancée, Kathlene Greene; children, Brandon (Stephanie) Stillwell and Jakob Stillwell; grandchildren Matthew, Caitlyn, and Hunter; and stepchildren Jordan Passuth, Robby Passuth, Ryan Greene, and Steven Greene. He is also survived by his siblings, Denise (Troy) Sedlacek, Michelle (Rod) Turell, Joe (Alisa) Wolfe, Chris (Shelley) Wolfe, Brian Wolfe, and Sebrina Wolfe.
To honor Dennis' life, a memorial bike ride will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2023, starting at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street. The ride will end at the Lee Township Hall where a luncheon will be held beginning at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the start of the ride.
