Donald F. Musinski, 89, of Midland, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland. He was born March 9, 1933 in Bay City MI, son of the late Walter and Alice (Murwaski) Muszynski. He graduated from Bay City Handy High School, and earned his bachelors degree from Saginaw Valley State University. Don served in the United States Air Force from 1952 until 1956, after which he continued his service in the Air Force Reserves. On November 15th of 1980 he married Margaret Susalla in Midland. Don worked for The Dow Chemical Company from 1951 to 1988, in the laboratory and Employee Relations. After his retirement from Dow, Don served as an associate director for the Bay City Chamber of Commerce.
He will be missed by his wife, Margaret; children, Dorothy Ahler of Missoula MT, Matthew Musinski of Omaha NE, Jeff (Tammy) Musinski of Cantonment FL; sister-in-law, Rosemary Muszynski of Bay city MI; nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty (Frank) and Patricia (Gerald); and by his brother, Robert.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3109 Swede Ave at Ashman Street. Fr. Robert Howe will officiate, with graveside burial rites at Old Calvary Cemetery on Eastman Avenue in Midland. Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Military honors will be presented by the United States Air Force.
