Eldon Walker Obituary
Eldon G. Walker, 78, of Midland, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Bickford Cottage. Eldon, the son of Wm. and Beulah (Ziegler) Walker, was born in Port Sanilac the second of six children, on Feb. 15, 1932. He married Myra Annis of Grayling on Jan. 1, 1965.
Eldon worked for The Dow Chemical Co. for 25+ years in Midland.
Eldon is survived by his wife, Myra; sons, Sam Walker of Atlanta, Ga., and Cliff (Gina) of Damon, Texas. He is also survived by brothers, Earl (Ellen) Walker of Beavertown, Pa., and Lloyd (Ann) Walker of Carsonville; and sisters, Ruth (Doug) Byers of Chesapeake, Va., Lois Douglas of Appleton, Wis., and Carol (Gary) Wilcox of Big Bay.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Jerome Frandle and Brad Wilson will officiate. Burial will take place in Grayling, at Beaver Creek Cemetery. Eldon's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
