Gary Lee Miller, 75 of Midland, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2026, at Toni & Trish House in Auburn. Gary had courageously fought glioblastoma brain cancer for 3 years, living to share many wonderful moments with his family. He was born July 10, 1950, the son of the late Paul and Mary (Friday) Miller. Gary was a 1968 graduate of Bullock Creek High School and later attended Michigan State University and Central Michigan University. He worked at Dow Corning for over 30 years, retiring as an instrumentation journeyman in July 2002. On July 19, 1969, Gary married the love of his life the former Billie Lee in Midland. He loved old cars and had a collection of model cars. Puzzles, reading, and bike riding were all favorite activities that Gary enjoyed, along with Oldies 50 & 60's music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. A man who could fix anything, Gary's pride in his children and grandchildren, was made quite evident to others. He enjoyed going to all of his daughter's and grandchildren's sporting events, band concerts and other activities.
He is survived by his wife Billie, and daughters, Angela (Brian) Garver, and Sherry Lovelace, all of Midland; grandchildren, Nick (Michelle) Osborn, Kate (Josh) Prybyski, Emma Lovelace, Kelsey Lovelace, Jordan (Leslie) Garver, Lauren Garver, and great grandchildren, Danielle Garver and Taylor Osborn. Gary's brothers and sisters are Lila Hickerson of Midland, Pauline Losey of Midland, Don (Pimol) Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada, Frank (Karen) Miller of Grand Haven, Jean Wolfe of Midland, Lois Miller, and Tom Miller of Titusville, FL.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Toni & Trish House of Auburn, MyMichigan Health, and to the Dr.'s at University of Michigan Medical Center.
Visitation for Gary will take place Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street with interment to take place in Homer Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Toni & Trish House.
