James W. Twining, 80, of Ocala, Fla. died on Oct.10, 2010 at his home. Jim was born on March 20, 1930, in Midland, to Roscoe and Frances Twining.
Jim was a long-time employee of The Dow Chemical Co.
Jim is survived by his wife, Eleanor "Ellie" Twining, of Ocala; his children, Lynne Twining of Brooklyn, N.Y., Kristine Twining of Mill Valley, Calif., Susan Twining of Sacramento, Calif., and James "Duffy" Twining Jr. of Elk Rapids; his stepsons, Vaughn Rokosz of Newton, Mass., and Michael Rokosz of Vail, Colo.; his sisters, Beverly Attwood of Sedona, Ariz., and Alice Bare of Ithica; his brother, Lewis Twining of Sun City West, Ariz.; and five grandchildren, Sam, Nicky, Allegra, Lauren, and Galen. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Ferguson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ocala, with internment at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
