Passed away peacefully on July 2 surrounded by her loving family at the Serenity House. Karen's faith in God, family, and friends helped her to valiantly battle cancer over the last 2 years.
Karen was born December 27, 1940 in Globe, AZ to Dorothy and Kenneth McClellan. She was raised in Santa Barbara where she attended Marymount Girls School and graduated from Santa Barbara High.
Karen married her first love, Bill Ingalls in 1958; they had two sons, David and Mark. Bill and Karen own and operate Ingalls Plumbing and Heating.
Karen and Bill's weekends were spent at their White Oaks Ranch on Lake Nacimiento. Where she loved to work in her vegetable garden, tend to her beautiful roses, flowers, mow acres manicured lawns as well as care for her many beloved animals.
She was particularly passionate about dogs and helped establish the Santa Barbara Tri-County Friends of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Bill; son's David and Mark (Sunny); grandchildren Sara, William, Elle, and Tucker; mother Dorothy Moore; sisters Gail D?Ambra, Neta Knightley (David) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Karen and her family would like to thank all of her friends and the many health care professional's who aided in her battle with cancer.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday July 19th 2013 at 10:00a.m. At St Barbara Parish at the Old Mission followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at the Santa Barbara Elks Lodge #613 150 N. Kellogg Santa Barbara, CA 93111

I would like to say that I knew Karen for about 20 years during my construction days in Santa Barbara. Karen was always very sweet and kind. I have not seen her in several years but she will be remembered by my wife and I. Our sympathies to the Family.

I recently saw my cousin Karen at a family gathering. She was as gracious as always and I will remember her that way! We had a lovely talk and vist which makes my heart warm. Bill, David, Mark and family, MY family's thoughts and prayers are with you all! Karen was an amazing and strong woman. We will always remember her for what she gave to so many and not asking for anything for herself. LOVE you forever, cousin Karen!
