Lilas Blaine SENINI

SENINI - Lilas Blaine August 29, 1932 - October 15, 2013 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend. Lilas was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Salty and is survived by daughter Cheryl (Ray) and sons Randy (Debbie) and Darell. She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shaun (Kristin), Ash (Andrea), Tyler, Chase (Hanna), Dayne, Raymond (Daniella), Tod and Jennifer (Clay); great-grandchildren Avery, Alia, Natalie and Mila; sister Betty (Russ) Davis; brother Tom (Thelma) MacDonald; numerous nieces and nephews and her faithful pal "Yogi". Lila was a loving, hardworking lady who touched the lives of many. She loved gardening, camping on Denman Island and golfing. She had a wicked fairway drive that helped her win many club and inter-club championships while golfing for the Mount Brenton G.C. We all miss her pancakes and cinnamon buns (the best in town) and our annual rigatoni Christmas dinners Mom will also be missed by the hummers that lined up at her feeders year round, the wild birds she loved to feed and talk to and the many neighbourhood dogs that waited anxiously every morning fro their treat. The family would like to thank the incredible doctors, nurses and volunteers in the Palliative Care Unit for their car and compassion at this difficult time. There will be no service by request.
