Michael Crill

Michael Kenneth Crill, 80, of Midland, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1937 in Tiffin, Ohio, son of the late Kenneth and Eileen (Mee) Crill. He was a graduate of Midland High School and attended Central Michigan University. He served his country in the U.S. Army as an arms supplier. On April 4, 1990 he married the former Sallie Ann Tisdale at Assumption Catholic Church in Midland. She survives him. Michael was employed as an electrician with the Dow Chemical Company until his retirement in 1995. His favorite enjoyments included wintering in Sun City, Ariz., golfing, softball and bowling. He loved to spend time with family and friends. He was adored by everyone who knew him.

Surviving besides his wife, Sallie, are his children and their spouses, Laurie (Thomas) Labean of North Carolina, Cheryl Arbury of North Carolina, Jamie (Rick) Bohan of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Richard, Madison, James, Connor, and Tyler; his brothers and sisters, Charles Crill, James Crill, Joan (Glenn) Mitchell, Catherine (Jean-Loup) Truche; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Margaret (Frances) Letts.

Funeral services for Michael will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Michael's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 p.m., and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
