Mom will be honored if through compassion we plant a tree, garden, or one small seed, and teach a friend how to do it. Learn about random acts of kindness and do them. Through your action, witness love and give love to the fellow next to you who needs it more than you do and consider a charity of choice.
Please share your thoughts and memories of Retha with the family at the funeral home, or through www.waresmithwoolever.com.

I didn't know Retha but my parents knew her, my father, Emil Gust grew up in Gladwin and named me after your Mom because they thought she was the nicest person. Wish I would have met her, she must have been a special lady for my parents to name their first born daughter after her, Retha Jane DeShano
