Ruth Green Obituary

Ruth E. Green
Ruth E. Green, age 92 of Midland, was called home to Heaven on December 18, 2024 at King's Daughters in Midland. She was born in Freeland on February 29, 1932 to the late Lloyd and Nina (Wiltse) Garrett. She married Lyle Green in 1973 and they spent 38 years together before his death in 2011. Ruth was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Midland.
Ruth leaves behind her step children, Barbara (Clark) Johnson, Nancy Henderson, and Tom Green; step daughter in-law, Frances Green; step grandchildren, Jacqueline (Evin), Jessica, Michael (Merry), Brian (Michelle), Chirs (Erin), and Angela (Chris); and nephews, Wayne (Nancy) Garrett, Dale (Sue) Garrett, and Bernard Garrett. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her step son, Jon Green; and her siblings, Kenneth, Walter, Warren, Madeline and Dorothy.
Family and friends are invited to attend Ruth's funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Pastor Bethany Maciejewski of First United Methodist Church will officiate with private burial to be in the Midland Municipal Cemetery next to her husband. Visitation will be on Monday, from 10 a.m. until her funeral service. Memorial contributions may be offered to First United Methodist Church of Midland.
