Stephen Yascolt Obituary

Stephen Yascolt Jr.
Yascolt, Stephen N. Jr. aged 57 of Midland passed away 11/24/2021 to be with his beloved wife Kate and his father. Steve was born July 26,1964 to Muriel and the late Stephen Yascolt Sr. in Midland. Steve loved his family very much. He enjoyed going to the U.P of Michigan, gardening and playing cribbage with his dad. Sunday's were always a great time to try a new recipe out and share with his Ace family. For 30 years at Ace, helping customers with home improvements and solving problems was a joy for him. At home, he and his many cats enjoyed watching his multiple fish tanks together.
Steve is survived by his daughter Xerxies (Dae), his mother Muriel Yascolt, sister Muriel (Mark) Thurston, grandmother Muriel Hauri, nephew Nicholas Thurston, niece Stacey Thurston, and aunts Rosemary Hauri and Barbara Yascolt. He was predeceased by his wife Kate of 33 years, grandparents, Ilah and Cecil Yascolt and Lloyd Hauri, aunt Sister Mary Margaret Yascolt O.C.D. and uncles Paul Yascolt and Tom Hauri.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Midland CO. Cremation has taken place.

Steve was a joy to be with. I enjoyed His wit and humor for 40+ years. Katie was charming as well. My heart goes out to his family, he will be sorely missed!
