Todd Ervick Obituary

Todd Ervick
Todd Darren Ervick, 64, of Lowell, MI, passed away on October 9th, 2022, suddenly at his home.
Todd was born on September 25th, 1958, to Donald and Joyce Ervick in Midland, MI. The middle of three brothers, Cliff (Danon) of Au Traun, MI and Donald (Marie) Ervick, Jr., of Midland, MI, he grew up playing sports and games, with his neighborhood friends and fishing with his father. Todd graduated from Midland High School in 1977.
Upon graduating Todd moved to Colorado where he lived with a couple of high school friends. He moved back to Midland and then eventually made his way to Grand Rapids, before eventually settling in Lowell. Todd loved the Lowell area and said he planned on staying there.
Todd liked to travel when you could. He traveled to Norway once with his grandfather Anton, once with his father and planned on making it a trifecta with his cousins and brother Donnie, next June. He also traveled to Hong Kong to visit a friend.
Todd loved music and movies. He amassed a collection of hundreds of vinyl records and cd's. He also had many moves on DVD's as well as VHS. He loved to watch his old classics. He also was an avid reader. On his birthday this year, he was bragging about all the books he had and how they lined the walls of one room in his home. He really enjoyed fiction and cookbooks. He also enjoyed painting and was a talented artist. A lot of his paintings were scenes of places that he had visited. He also had a room dedicated to this hobby.
Todd also loved spending time with his great nieces and nephews. They seemed to bring him so much joy, you could tell by the smile on his face, whenever he was around them.
Todd was preceded in death by His father Donald Ervick, Sr. and his brother Cliff. He is survived by, his mother Joyce, his brother Donald, Jr. and his great nieces and nephews Abigail Ervick, Clifford Ervick III, Zoe Ervick, Riley Ervick, Hinata Ervick, Nicholas Ervick, Molly Ervick, and Johan Ervick.
Family will greet guests on Monday, October 17th, 2022, from 10:00 am until the start of the service at 11:00 am at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, Midland, Michigan. Interment immediately following the funeral service will be held at the Midland City Cemetery.
Memorials in Todd's name may be made to the Midland Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2420 East Ashman Street, Midland, MI 48642, or to the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 East Ashman Street, Midland, MI 48642.

Todd was great. I knew him for a brief time - 7th and 8th grade. He was funny. Modest. A really good guy. I have several good memories of Todd.

I knew Todd since Elementary school. Grew up in same neighborhood and played together as kids. Sad to hear of his passing.
