Amy Elmore Obituary
Amy Lynn Elmore, 55, a resident of Lone Oak, passed away at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on July 21, 1968, in Princeton. She was a member of Lone Oak Church Of Christ and retired director of student activities at WKCTC in Paducah. She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Elmore; her mother, Donna Baker Vinson, Princeton; one son, Brett (Storm) Newsom, Cadiz; four stepdaughters, Jessica Elmore, New Harmony, Indiana, Danielle (Ian) Baumgardner, Paducah, Angela (Brett) Henley, Paducah, Nicci (Brady) Hicks, Mayfield; two sisters, Beth Vinson, Princeton, Heather (Donny) Oliver, Portland, Tennessee; a sister in law, LaDonna Vinson, Princeton; three grandchildren Liam, Dylan, and Callan; eight nieces and nephews, Zach, Laci, Travis, Trevor, Alexis, Kaycee, Tyler, and Kaitlyn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerald Vinson, and a brother, Troy Vinson. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at Lone Oak Church of Christ with Paul Wingfield and Randall Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynnville Baptist Church Cemetery in Lynnville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dwayne Elmore, Brett Newsom, Zack Vinson, Trevor Oliver, Travis Oliver and Tyler Champion.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Lone Oak Church of Christ.
Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
