She was actively involved with her husband Joe in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Purchase Aerie local 4464 Mayfield, where she served as the Auxiliary secretary for 10 years. She loved people and always had a smile on her face. She always had a kind word to say to anyone she met, but most importantly, she loved her family.

Carolyn is survived by three daughters, Karen Provow and husband Tim, of Cunningham, Susanne Marsidi and husband Paul, of Daytona, Florida, and Janet Stewart and husband Larry, of Franklin, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Kendra Carter Hayden and husband Andy, Kirstin Carter Futrell and husband Chance, Travis Provow and wife Erin, Tyler Provow and wife Ashley, David Marsidi and wife Michelle, Audrey Marsidi Spaduzzi and husband Dylan, Brittany Stewart Morgan and husband Scott, and Brock Stewart and wife Katie; 15 great-grandchildren, Payton and Parker Hayden, Nolan and Nadalyn Futrell, Harper and Hallie Provow, Norah, Becks and Judd Provow, Luke Marsidi, Winston Spaduzzi, Caden and Ryan Morgan, Layton and Colby Stewart. Carolyn shared very special relationships with her younger cousins, who spent every summer on the farm with her parents.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Reid; three baby brothers, David Lindsey Jennings, James Edwin Jennings, and Jerry Wayne Jennings; a grandchild, LaCresha Carter; and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Greg Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
