Elnora Stevenson Obituary
Elnora Jane George Stevenson, 82, of Paducah, died at 11:01 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at her home.
She retired from Walmart Su%er and was a longtime member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Marcia "Marshall" Laverne George; her parents, Eugene and Susan Rozelle Woods George; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Isaac Stevenson; five children, Linda George, Eva Harper, Gale Stanton, Larese Shed and Walter "Ray-Ray" George; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lena Stafford and Connie Moss; one brother, Harrison George; four stepdaughters, Simone Smittie, Chanell Stevenson, Charell Stevenson, and Alexis Scott; nine step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for noon Saturday, Feb. 3, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist with Revs. James L. Hudson and Patricia Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
