Jerry Foy Obituary

Jerry "Bill" Max Foy, 84, of Mayfield, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.

He retired from AC Spark Plug in Flint, Michigan, as an electrician after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederacy and was a veteran of the United States Military where he serves in the Army Security Agency for four years, including time spent in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Berdie Foy; his daughter, Kathleen Puckett of Michigan; grandsons, Brian (Morgan) Puckett of Michigan, and Tyler (Katelyn) Puckett of Michigan; his great-grandson, Hudson James Puckett; brothers, Dale (Paula) Foy of Texas and Larry Foy of Mayfield; sister, Shellie Bradshaw of Murray; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lone Foy and Signa Bruce Foy; a daughter, Kristina Daum; brothers, Herschel Foy, Kenneth Foy, Gene Foy, and Norman Foy; sisters, 11 Helen Sadler, Mildred Peal, Faye Bowsher, and Ovaleen Charles; and his son-in-laws- Nicki Joe Puckett and Charles Daum.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, with Rev. Dennis Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynnville Baptist Cemetery, where the American Legion Post #26 will conduct military rites. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
