Kathryn DeJarnatt Obituary
BARDWELL - Kathryn Juanita DeJarnatt, 92, of Bardwell, died 2:53 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her residence.
Ms. DeJarnatt was a line manager for NCI, a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Ballard County for 74 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Dwaine) Stigall of Lovelaceville; beloved friend, Frankie Adams; four grandchildren, Brandon Owens, Brek Owens, Tara Byers, Cassie Smith; nine great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene DeJarnatt; parents, Otha Johnson and Beatrice (Edwards) Johnson; daughter, Kathy Owens; two sisters, Freida Redden, Virginia Doublin; two brothers, Robert Johnson, Tommy Johnson.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Zeke Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cunningham.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to Shady Grove Baptist Church, 2251 Blandville Road, Wickliffe, KY 42087.

Debbie. Wanted to let you know we'll be thinking about and praying for a peace in this time of grieving. I will always remember Mrs. Kathryn as an inspiration to keep going even when you don't feel like you can. I truly believe she was one of the best. Won't make the funeral due to working.
