Larry Lemon Obituary

MAYFIELD - Larry G. Lemon, 84, of Mayfield, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

He was of the Methodist faith and a retired employee of BF Goodrich.

Mr. Lemon is survived by one son, Scott (Samantha) Lemon of Wingo; one daughter, Dana Lemon (Keith) Nelson of Ashland City, Tennessee; one sister, Patsy Lemon Goodman of Louisville; four grandchildren, Logan (Natalie) Nelson, Hunter Nelson, Ryan (Kelsey) Lemon and Will Lemon; and four great grandchildren, Lydia, Addison, Levi and Avree Lemon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Leisner Lemon; and one sister, Louise Lemon Hamm; and his parents, Bryan and Mildred Douglas Lemon.

Funeral services for Mr. Larry G. Lemon will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Nelson, Hunter Nelson, Ryan Lemon, Will Lemon, Red Erwin, Bob Adams, Stites Bennett, Gary Adams, Bill Clemmons and Randel Gibson.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Expression of sympathy may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
