DU QUOIN, Ill. - Sally Ann Miller, 92, of Du Quoin, formerly of Benton, Kentucky, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, at her residence.
Sally had been a physical therapist for Jamp Special Education Services.
She was born Dec. 26, 1930, in Vandalia, the daughter of Herbert Gereke and Elsie William (Curry) Mammen.
She married James Lowell Miller on May 18, 1958, in Vandalia, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2007.
She is survived by three children - Polly Johnson of Carlinville, Jon Andrew "Andy" Miller and wife Sherri of Benton, Kentucky, and Abby Emling and husband Adam of Du Quoin; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16 at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, with Don Wilson and Mark Doom officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia.
Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church, Benton, for Operation Christmas Child. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home.
