Melchor Gonzalez Obituary
Melchor dedicated many years to working in agriculture and later operated a food truck, "La Troje". He changed careers one last time and joined Harmony Foods/Santa Cruz Nutritional before retiring. Throughout his life, he found comfort in nostalgic Mexican music and treasured time spent with his entire family.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandson, and siblings Silvia, Rita, Mario, Carlos, Emilio, Jorge, and Alfredo.
The Gonzalez family would like to thank the staff at the Watsonville Post Acute Center for the care and attention to Melchor Gonzalez Sr.
A viewing and rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Ave Maria Chapel in Watsonville. A Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Parish in Watsonville on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Valley Public Cemetery.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
