Frank Hill

Frank Hill, 91, of Welaka, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
A proud Marine, devoted husband, and beloved father and grandfather, Frank lived a life rooted in faith, hard work, and laughter.
He was a man of character; honest, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether serving his country, fixing a neighbor's car, or building something with his own two hands, Frank gave his best to everything he did.
Frank adored his wife, Lewanda, and their love was the steady center of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family and countless memories for their children. Home was wherever they were. He was a present and intentional father, as well as a fun-loving "Papa" who played ball, taught target practice, swam in the pool, played hide-and-seek, and took the grandkids for joyrides on the old golf cart. They would all agree it was better than any ride at Disney World.
He built each of them a wooden keepsake chest, a handcrafted treasure they'll hold dear forever.
He also had a quick wit and a saying for every occasion: "Fine as frog hair," "Don't run off mad," "We'll see you in the funny papers," and, of course, "Don't take any wooden nickels!"
Even as his health declined, his humor never did. When asked how he was doing, he'd grin and say, "I woke up and still know who I am," or "I'm still above ground!"
Frank's faith guided him every step of the way. His devotion, dedication, and love for his family will always be remembered. Though he's no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the stories, the laughter, and the hearts of all who knew him.
We will miss you so much. Thank you for all your love and support. We love you to the moon and back!
