Fred Green Jr.

Fred Green Jr. was born October 23, 1926, in Monticello, FL, to the now deceased Sarah and Fred Green Sr. He was married to Ruby Williams Green who preceded Freddie in death. From this marriage, they were blessed with three sons.
Freddie, attended public school in Jefferson County, where he became the man of character and integrity we would all come to admire.
Freddie established Christ as his Savior early in life. He later moved his family to Palatka, FL, where he, along with his wife joined Greater Shiloh M.B. Church. Our dear father worked proudly as an artisan butcher, providing for his family with skill and dedication. Upon retirement, Freddie devoted himself to his greatest passion: caring for his beloved canines. A lifelong animal lover, he found joy and purpose in caring for dogs. He was always happiest when surrounded by dogs.
Freddie remained faithful in prayer, even in his final days, he continued to pray. Saturday, August 9, Freddie made his final Earthly prayer as he made his final walk here on Earth, he rose to his eternal rest in Heaven.
To forever treasure his laughter, smile, and endurance is one son, Freddy (Joyce); his two sisters, Amy Graham, Winter Haven, FL, Queen Allen, Gainesville, FL; one brother, Troy Green (Cornelius), Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Cobby Everette, Terrence Green, Ruthie Green, Ashton Green, Keke Green, Kinte Green; great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Gloria Brown, Monticello, FL. Freddie, leaves memories with his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We LOVE YOU Daddy but we know you are rejoicing in Heaven and have found eternal peace.
Veiwing and Visitation: Saturday, Aug. 23, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Celebration Of Life will convene at 1 p.m. Interment Resthaven Cemetery in San Mateo FL, with the Rev Anthony Q. Robinson eulogist.
