Gary Railing Obituary
Gary was a devoted father and husband of 47 years, predeceased by his wife Marie a month ago. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time on his airboat riding the Ocklawaha and fishing in Steinhatchee. He had a special relationship with his grandsons and spending time with them brought him great joy. He had an admirable work ethic and was employed for 38 years for AT&T as a lineman.
He passed from this world on August 21, 2023, at the age of 71 after a battle with leukemia. He will be missed greatly.
Gary is survived by his son, Chris (Leann); daughter, Valerie; grandsons, Gunner and Sawyer; and several nieces and nephews.
In honor of his wishes, no service is planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to: Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, 6400 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, FL 32177.
Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Interlachen.
