Gavin Gabriel Deedrick

Gavin Gabriel Deedrick, 21, of Palatka, passed from this life on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born in St. Augustine, Gavin was a lifelong resident of Palatka and graduated from Palatka High School in 2021. He was employed at P&J Timber as a heavy machine operator. He had been baptized at Southside Baptist Church and more recently had attended Trinity Baptist Church in Palatka.
Gavin loved nature and the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, surfing, snowboarding and lobstering. He adored his family and friends that he considered his brothers. Gavin had a heart of gold and lived his life to the fullest.
Gavin is treasured by his parents, Dyan and Shawn Deedrick; a brother, Luke Deedrick (Victoria Costa); sister, Gabriella Deedrick; his grandparents, Sherry and Bill Jones, Gina and George Shann, John Deedrick, and Lisa and Forrest Peeples; great-grandparents, Elizabeth Kerce and Judy Peeples; aunts and uncles, Justin Peeples, Michelle and J.D. Azula, Royce Parker, Jimmy Kerce, Karen Taylor, Heather Reese, Ryan Peeples, Tim and Stacie Livengood; and numerous cousins.
Memorial services celebrating Gavin's life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the Rodman Plantation, 298 CR 310, Palatka, with Pastor Tim Livengood officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m.
