Here it is, almost a week later, and I still can't believe Al's gone. Nor can I imagine the pain you all must be feeling. He was such a great guy, always with a smile and thats the way we'll always remember him. Please know you are all in my thoughts and I'm so glad we got to spend a great evening together when we visited this summer. Love you guys.

Dear Cindy- I came upon AL in the paper the other day and felt like i got hit by a ton of bricks!!I am SO SO very sorry for your loss. Rick and I both cried- Al will be a man who will be sorely missed by all those around him. "The life of the Party" is just insufficient to express how beloved he is at any party or gathering. I am going through my old pictures to find some fun ones to show you in an album.I was planning to be at the service today but got called in to work last night till late, tried to sleep- but couldn't - then gotta work tonight 7p-7a- again..our deepest sympathy for you loss of this exceptional man.It is all our loss really!- Ill call you- ...with love Diane and Rick Gilligan

Cindie & family, Al left us way too soon, but God must have a good reason to take him up to Heaven so early. Al was a wonderful bro-in-law, a family man always, who loved you all very much. Although he isn't with us on this Earth, his spirit lives on and loving memories will be with me in my heart forever. What great times we had together. My love and prayers are with you all.

Al is a wonderful example of a "Great American" He has great love of his family, great respect for his work and colleagues, true understanding of his fellow citizens and friends - He is too young to leave us so soon - However he left us enough lessons on how to live life decently and with courage, grace and dignity to last us all for ever.

I will look up to the heavens - I will see AL and I will thank G-d that I knew him even for a short time, and as he watches over all those he loves I will be forever in great admiration for his courageous family who fought the good fight with him.

G-d bless you always Albert, Cindy and your precious family.

Something that provides a little sense of peace and comfort when someone passes away is knowing that God has another amazing angel in Heaven. He is your angel that will watch over and protect you. Although it seems like his time was too short, i can definitely say that with the amazing family that he had.. It was the best times of his life. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers every single day. Love you guys ??
