I miss you dad.....!!!

Dr. Thorp was a very special person and I know he will be missed by many. When I was little, Dr. Thorp graciously gave me my first job in his Vet clinic in Delray Beach. I went in every Saturday and cleaned up the different rooms including the kennels and cat cages. I loved this job! I looked foward to going every Saturday so I could be in the clinic with Dr. Thorp and Ms. Bowman. I watched how he treated the animals, how he gave each one loving attention and much respect. He was a sweet and kind man. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers are for peace and comfort in this time of loss.

Hannah,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all your family. I can't tell you how much I loved working with your dad and listening to his colorful stories and jokes. His laughter and joy truly showed in his beautiful eyes.
No matter what I had planned for his treatment that day, I always found myself leaving with a smile on my face that carried me through my day. He sure knows knows how to work a girl!
My prayer for you is that you are all filled and embraced by the warmth, joy and love that he so embraced all of us left here on earth. May that comfort and keep you all the days of your lives.

Don was a friend, client and an all around fun person. His stories and mimic monologues were always entertaining. He had his first Veterinary Clinic in Oley Pa., where I grew up. We had a lot of fun for his 70th Birthday Party in Delray Beach. He touched many human and animal lives in a most positive fashion.
