Family-Placed Obituary
AMANDA LEIGH MARKHAM "Mandy" Age 31 of Lantana, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She leaves behind her beloved children, Jada Leigh, 10, and Nicholas Matthew, 5, both of Lantana. Her loving mother Charlene Orf and step-father Matthew Orf. Her father Johnny Markham of Orange Park, FL, and her grandmother, Bobbie Poston of Royal Palm Beach, FL. Many aunts, uncles, and good friends. Mandy's children were the love of her life, and she will be deeply missed by them and her family and friends. Viewing and Memorial will be on Friday, November 11 at National Cremation and Burial from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1032 N. Dixie Highway Lake Worth, FL 33460. Dear Charlene, I never met your daughter, Mandy. In fact, you and I haven't been in touch since Lantana Middle School, other than when I saw you when my husband and I went to Grumpy Grouper. I am so very, very sorry for your loss of your daughter. I am sure she was a wonderful person (as indicated in so many entries in this Guest Book). This is so hard for me. I can't believe you are really gone. I miss you so much, I can't stop the tears from falling. It seems unfair. You've been through so much and yet you always stayed strong. My heartfelt condolences and prayers of healing going out to the Markham, Orf and Sarno families and especially Nicholas and Jada. I remember when Mandy was born. So much has changed, yet stayed the same since then. I don't know what you believe, but i believe we all meet up again on the other side. Remember all the blessings and the good times that you had with Mandy. We never feel that any time is a "good" time to lose a loved one, but to go in our sleep i think is what we all wish for. Peace and comfort to you all. I'm sure there will be Lantana Heights in Heaven waiting for us all.

Mandy, Where do i begin, i'm lost for words. I cant believe such a thing has happened. We were friends since Greenacres Christian and it's been so long since we have spoken and to hear about this has saden my heart. I know this is a hard time for you and if i ever see you a hug is well needed. But I do know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Mandy we never really talked in school. I do remember you always talking and laughing and enjoying your friends. I wish I had gotten to know you better than I had. You will be missed by many but never forgotten. Matt, Charlene, Jada, Nicholas and the Markham family, my deepest heartfelt sympathy to you all. So many people loved Mandy, and she will be truly missed. I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I was blessed to have Mandy in my life since we were kids. Mandy was a huge part of my family and one of my dearest friends. I've known you since birth. You were a big sister to me, always watching over and protecting me. As we grew older you became more than a cousin or sister but a friend.
