Ann M. Rice, 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2016 at The Herrick House, surrounded by her three sons. A resident of Beverly, MA for the past year, Ann had previously resided in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for ten years, and previously in White Plains, NY, Bronx, NY and Delmar, NY for many years. After many years as a hospital nurse, she was employed as an Occupational Health Nurse, at General Electric and Texaco, among other companies. A native of Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Evelyn Vatter Rice. A graduate of Auburn East High School with the Class of 1960, and received her RN Degree from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Rochester, NY in 1963. Ann loved to golf, play bridge, cook, spend time with friends and most of all spend time with the grandchildren. Surviving are sons, Mark (Adrienne Cecero) Guarino of Burlington, NJ, Michael (Deborah) Guarino of Riegelsville, PA, David (Heidi) Guarino of Salem, MA; grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Kathleen, Michael, Neil, Owen and Jacob Guarino; sisters-in-law Patricia H. Rice of Auburn, NY, Patty D. Rice of East Windsor, NJ,
several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Robert Rice and their parents. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Monday, February 22, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose Rd, Auburn, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn, NY on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
