Dr. B was a true advocate for the McKeesport Hospital Foundation. I enjoyed so much the time I personally worked with Bernie and Kay on all of our fundraising events, especially the UPMC McKeesport Invitational. Dr. B and Kay helped to build this premier event and their many contributions to its success will never be forgotten. I will truly miss you Bernie -- you will remain in our hearts always.

Dear Mrs. Miklos-- I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Miklos in Case Management prior to his retiring. He truly was a great physician advisor and colleague. He is missed at his old hospital in McKeesport. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Miklos family,
I just heard of Bernie's death and all the good memories of the Miklos family came to mind. It is hard to believe that he has joined his brothers in a new life --- all leaving this earth too soon. I recall the fun that Bernie was and the stories he told and the great pride he had in his family. I am sure the loss is very great for all of you. My mother and I offer prayers for all of you for whom Bernie was a special person -- husband, father, grandfather and brother. May your memories put a smile on your face as he did for so many during his life. Peace to all of you.

We graduated in 1948-and went to college..he to Pitt pre-med and I went to Duquesne Univ.Pharmacy School..since we both lived and studied at home we commuted..walking down Kennedy Ave early every A.M. in all kinds of weather..he for the "68" streetcar and me for the DeBolt bus which took us to PGH. He was a joy to talk to and he was a good friend. Now Mike,Frank, and now Bernie..all three were outstanding. Requescat in Pace.
