Bruce Daniels was someone I had only met recently and briefly on a few seperate occasions. He was a counselor for a dear family member for years. He was an old neighbor to my uncle and grandparents. His voice was of great comfort in my time of loss and confusion, his manner very calming. I am deeply saddened of his loss and express the most sincere regrets to his loved ones.

To Bruce's Family,

My most sincere sympathy for your loss. I have lost a wonderful friend. Bruce was "there" for me when my husband died. He did so much, so quietly, so well, and with amazing grace. He wished no publicity. He simply did what was right, what was compassionate, what was needed. I shared Bruce's passion for politics and was an AARP Advocacy colleague. I thank God that I was able to experience Bruce as a true friend. I shall miss him. May God comfort all of you.
