Family-Placed Obituary

CARL LEO CAMPBELL Carl Leo Campbell, 97, of Meadow Lakes, East Windsor, New Jersey passed away Saturday morning in his residence. Born October 22, 1911 in Toledo, Ohio, Mr. Campbell was a resident of Lake Park, Florida for many years before moving to Meadow Lakes seven years ago. He was a graduate of St. Johns/DeSales College in Toledo, Ohio and the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Campbell, a partner in the law firm of Campbell and Karlik, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida was active in the Florida Bar Association, serving as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Domestic Relations Tax Problems for the Tax Section of the American Bar Association and as a member of the Probate Rules Committee of the Florida Bar. He was active in the Palm Beach County Lions, a member of the Executive Committee of the Friends of the Lake Park Public Library and participated in several ministries at St Francis of Assisi Parish in Riviera Beach, Florida. He was predeceased by his wife of sixty-five years, Marie Weis Campbell; his parents, William and Edna Campbell; his sister, Kathrien Tegtmeyer and his son-in-law, Charles Hartman. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his sons, Stephen and Carl W. Campbell; daughters, Christine McCuen and Mary Louise Hartman and their spouses; Susan, Cynthia and John, eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 AM Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Church of St. Ann, Lawrenceville, NJ, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Visitation will be held 3:30-5 PM Sunday, February 1st with a prayer service being held at 5 PM at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the: Carl L. I served on the Florida Bar Probate and Rules Committee with Carl and got to know him quite well. He was one of the finest men I have ever known and I consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to have been associated with him
