CAROLYN C. BARTELUCE Age 95 of Sterling Village, Boynton Beach, FL formerly of Hackensack, NJ passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Born on March 16, 1915 in Hackensack to Mary (Perretti) and Daniel J. Barteluce, a professor of music. She attended Hackensack Public Grammar and High Schools and went on to Secretarial school. She worked many years as a secretary in the Bergen County Board of Taxation. She was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Leisure Club of Holy Trinity Church, Hackensack, a member of St. Mark's Church, Boynton Beach, FL and a member of the Italian/ American Club and Northeastern Club, Sterling Village of Boynton Beach, FL where she spent the last ten years of her life. Loving and devoted sister of John J. Barteluce and his partner Noreen. Predeceased by her sisters, Anna Barteluce, Mary B. Gatti and husband Dr. Joseph D. Gatti, Angie Oropallo and husband Patrick of Boynton Beach, FL and brothers, Frank J. Barteluce and wife Annette, and Daniel P. Barteluce and wife Amelia. Survived by the following nieces and nephews: Drs. William Gatti and wife Florence of Bannockburn, IL, Rev. Daniel J. Gatti, SJ of New York, NY, Joseph D. Gatti, CLU AEP and wife Sara of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Daniel J. Barteluce and wife Sara of Fort Lee, NJ, Christopher M. Barteluce and wife Christina of Pahoa, HI, James L. Thompson of Bellevue, NE, Barbara A. Lansdowne and husband Michael of Woodsboro, TX, Mary Lynn Post and husband Peter of Ridgewood, NJ, Angela Typadis and husband Russ of Medfield, MA, Maria Umbro of Ocean City, NJ, Deborah Goldin and husband Michael of Berkeley, CA, Toni Clark and husband Dennis of Boynton Beach, FL and Carol Oropallo of Charlestown, SC. Funeral from Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, NJ (201-487-3050) on Thursday, Mar 17 at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 36 Maple Ave., Hackensack, NJ. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. Visiting Tuesday 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice.
