Walter,
Even though i never had a chance to meet Cathleen in person, the numerous times we spoke on the phone you could feel the love she had for life and you. She greeted me each time as if she had known me for years and most importantly as if i were family. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Cathleen - Meeting you in Hong Kong 40 years ago was one of the best things that happened to me. You have truly been a great friend for all these years. I treasure the time we spent as partners decorating up and down the East coast - so much fun and tons of laughs. I will miss your phone calls and your great sense of humor. My condolences to Bridget and Walter.

When I first met Cathleen she commented that her mother had the same last name. To make a long story short we discovered we had common ancestry many generations back. From that day on Cathleen always referred to me as cousin Joe and often claimed to her friends that we were first cousins when we are probably more like 12th cousins. I became such a fan of hers over the years and am so proud to be even distanly related to such a generous loving person. Thanks for all you did for the less fortunate here and elsewhere Cathleen. You remain an inspiration to me and my family.

We love and miss you forever Cathy! The highlight of childhood in England was spending summers with you & Norris stateside... We were looking forward to our plans with you next week and regret our visit wasn't sooner. We send our love to Bridget, Walter, and all the loved ones who share our grief at this time.

My dad, the late Congressman, James C. Healey was married to Mrs. Mc Faflane-Ross. They met at John Kennedy's Presidential Democratic Convention in 1960.
I was fortunate to rekindle a relationship with her after moving to South Florida from N.Y.C. in 1993.
She was extremely gracious to my wife, Leeanne & me these past years. We shall miss her.

"Cate the Great" you will be so missed.
You were the closest I ever came to having a mother in law and how lucky I
was to have you. I will always remember your stories, our laughter and just being having you in my life was special. I will never forget the beautiful words you expressed at my mother's funeral, they were beautiful just like you. I was so lucky to have you in my life and will never forget you, "Leeanne the Lovely"
