Chuck was a great boss and friend to my mom. We will miss the blue cookies he brought the kids every year at the Christmas party and waving to his blue mustang that passed our house everyday. Our prayers go to the family and friends. RIP - Nikki Leon & Family

My first encounter with Chuck was 2003 at a RIMS meeting and later at a Workers' Compensation conference. At the conference Chuck came over to me and introduced himself as the President of the Palm Beach County RIMS Chapter and asked me if I would like to help the Chapter as the temporary treasurer until they found an individual to fill this position. I am still the treasurer to this day. Also for many years I have been a part of Chuck's Legislative committee at RIMS on the Hill and Tallahassee. With all of this said I will be missing Chuck very much as a friend and colleague.

Chuck will be missed by all who knew him. He could always find a reason to laugh and yet took his job very seriously. He truly lived life loving his work and doing it so well. I will always remember Chuck beaming with pride when talking about his city, his staff, his son and his beloved grandson Noah. Rest in peach Chuck you will be sorely missed.

Chuck was a great friend, colleague and mentor to me. Chuck was always available and willing to help anyone with their risk management questions. We didn't need google - we had Chuck. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about everything he did. He did so much for the Palm Beach County Chapter of RIMS and National RIMS that a fabulous book could be written. If we think about it, most of us in the insurance industry met each other through Chuck - he was a big fan of networking as you can never have enough resources. Now, our best resource has left us. Chuck is already missed, but he will never be forgotten!

A part of the great cloud,
Of witnesses, face-to-face

I had the privilege of working with Chuck many years ago via the law office I was employed at. He was a wonderful, caring person with a great sense of humor. May he now rest in peace.

A Friend

Chuck, beneath your rough exterior you were kind and purposeful. Even when it wasn't the popular thing to do, you stuck to your guns. Thank you for your support of me and the work I did. I WILL NEVER FORGET HOW YOU STUCK UP FOR ME!

The world will be a different place without you; nevertheless, I am thankful for knowing you.

To your family: Noah when you came along, your grandfather became a different person. You brought a new light of happiness and joy. Andrew your dad was al about work, but when he spoke of his son, he spoke with pride. He was so proud of the life you made for you and your family.

God Bless.

He was not only a idolized boss, but a true friend, mentor and father figure to us all in Risk Management Department. We knew he was always here due to his animated presence and constant sense of humor. We will truly miss the gentleman and scholar he was. RIP Tara, Mark and Pam.....

Chuck was always the loud and funny guy but when it came to protecting the City, as the Risk Manager, he was the best. I'm sure you will be missed throughout Boynton Beach and I know that you are in a better place and looking down at the rest of us having a good chuckle. RIP Chuck...
