Cheryl was my boss at the American Lung Association in the 1990's and I enjoyed working with her very much. She was pleasant and funny and saw humor in many a situation! She always treated us with respect and made me feel comfortable in my job. She told me once that if she ever became mean to let her know, because she didn't want to be that way! She is gone too soon and I will always remember her with fondness.

Cheryl was a good friend and neighbor. We used to walk the "hills" in Flamingo Park. She was a great neighbor and such an asset to Sunshine Park. She will truly be missed. Connie Adkins

Cheryl was one of a kind...literally a "one man (woman) band." We had many laughs with her. She was a joyful and happy person who loved her work and her animals. We COPers will miss her greatly.

I am so sad at the passing of Cheryl, such a kind and generous person. We first got acquainted doing work for our neighborhoods, Sunshine Park and Flamingo Park, respectively, in the Neighborhood Housing Services program. We also saw each other when she worked at the American Lung Assoc. and I worked at the Heart Association. She gave so much of herself to help others. What a great person and neighbor! She will be missed by so many!

I worked with Cheryl at the American Lung Association. It was through her that I got my first (rescue) dog in 1998. Her passion for dogs was incomparable. I hope she's at peace at the Rainbow Bridge playing with and loving all the dogs there.

I worked with Cheryl at the American Lung Association and remember her devotion to caring for her mom--a role I now enjoy. She was tireless and totally dedicated to her job. She's gone too soon.
