I was one of children bused from Boca to Spady in the 1970s. I felt safer and more cared for in Spady than in any school I attended in Boca.

Dr. Coleman, thank you for teaching my 5 children while they were at Spady. Also, thank you for disciplining my son when he was disrespectful in class. With deepest regret - The Mandley Family

When you're inspired young, the inspirer you can never forget.
I still remember the 12 steps ladder speech she gave each year.

Dr. Coleman:
I only found out yesterday. I live in VA now. If I knew sooner I would of been there for your service. You were the very best! I am so thankful to God that you hired me for my first teaching job. I loved working with my Spady family. I pray that you are in eternal peace with God and Jesus. Thank you, Dr. Coleman. I will always remember you.

Dr. Coleman's friends and community will miss her. Her passing grieves me inexpressibly. The life she lived was an epitomy of courage, visions and deep faith-an example worthy of emulation by all who loved and new her.
