Don Sider

DON SIDER Mr. Sider, 70, of West Palm Beach died October 8, 2003. A journalist for 50 years, he began his career at the St. Petersburg Times. He reported on the Vietnam War and helped start Money and People Magazines. After retirement from Time he continued to work for People until his death. He was an avid skydiver. He leaves his wife of 10 years, Ardi; three children from his first marriage, Dr. Todd Sider and his wife, Kathy, and grandchildren, Rachel and Jaclyn of Belleair, FL, Dr. Dean Sider and his wife, Andrea and grandchildren, Alexa and Garrett of Orlando and Dr. Darby Sider and her husband, Dr. Barry Hummel and grandchildren, Abigail and Zachary of Glendale, CA; his mother, Isabel Sider of West Palm Beach and a large extended family. The family will receive friends 2-4 P.M. Saturday, October 11, 2003 (today) at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach.
