I have very fond memories of Doreen, having met her on the tennis court years ago. I wish for her daughters memories of their mother who adored them so, I know you weren't finished loving your mother and I am very sorry for your loss.

Doreen... she was an amazing person, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend in which I only had the pleasure of knowing for a little over a decade.
Your love and zest for life was one that was unique and one that we shared, but yours was always demonstrated when walking into any room- along with your quick wit, hilarious sarcasm, bright smile, your iconic eyebrow raise and statement of saying "ok?" after every funny story you were relaying or whatever information you were giving out.
It´s to no surprise that her social media page was filled with photos of Teddie, Katie, her grandchildren, Bob, her sister, brother, mom and her horses- especially Buddy being her favorite I´ve learned, since that gave her such life and filled her heart, along with so many other things and so many other people. I found photos that I´ve never seen that she took of my wedding on there too, and it instantly reminded me of when she wore that "supposed socially forbidden" color of white to one of the wedding events, and after the memory itself bringing a smile to my face, it instantly made me laugh after remembering and thinking how much that made me love her more than I already did.
We shared a love for the outdoors and tennis and putting on a ball cap to complete any look, whether it was glam, or being natural. I recently learned your love for the Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur too which happens to be one of my all of time favorites, so when I put it in my coffee or espresso martini´s or have it alone during the holidays, it will now have a different ring to it.
Your wispy bangs, bright green eyes, and warm hugs was something I adored and looked forward to every time I saw you at every family gathering. I´ll miss the laughs and the adventures and the time that we shared together. And I´ll miss another couple of decades that I would have gotten to spend with you but know you´ll be a piece and a part of my heart forever. I love you Doreen.

May Doreen´s memory be a blessing. A life too short, but a love forever.

I truly hope the love of friends and family will carry you through your grief and heartache. I will always remember Dori as warm and vibrant, egar to help and generous to all. My deepest sympathy to all the family who are mourning her passing.
