Elizabeth DALESSIO Obituary

DALESSIO, Elizabeth M.
(November 4, 1926 to March 5, 2016) Elizabeth M. Dalessio of Tequesta, FL, died from an acute illness at Palm Beach Hospice on Saturday night. Elizabeth and her husband of 69 years, Anthony Dalessio, moved from Willowick, OH to Tequesta 43 years ago. They live in Little Club Villas. A devote Catholic, she was a parishioner at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta. She spent her lifetime teaching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that nothing is more important than family. Born to Clara Birchbigler and Henry Forcht, she was the oldest of nine children. She was the loving sister of Charlotte Ardo, Gloria Richards, Carol Papuga, Clara Wojciechowski, Marion Pollice, Richard, Bernie, and Donald Forcht. She was beloved sister-in-law of Richard and JoAnn Dalessio of Juno Beach and Mickey and Ann Dalessio of Loxahatchee. After receiving her high school diploma, she married Anthony Dalessio at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, in Cleveland, OH, on October 12, 1946. Her life is, and has been, celebrated by her two children and their spouses, Robert A. and Cynthia Dalessio of Jupiter, FL, and Mary Ann and Jeffery Born of Hingham, MA; her eight grandchildren, Kelli Nicholson, Lori Schinsing, Sarah Choi, Jeffery Born, Megan Kittinger, Robert Dalessio II, Christi Pitt, and Logan Dalessio. Her ten great-grandchildren, Brittani, Harold, Cedella, Marlee, Maddy, Zeke, Andrew, Elijah, Sophia, and Benjamin; and her two great-great-grandchildren, Makenzii and Little Harold. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM , Thursday, March 10th, at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL 33458. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:30PM, Friday, March 11th, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 10970 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach, FL 33409. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to the Patient Access Network Foundation, P.O. Box 221858, Charlotte, NC 28222. I worked with her at Winndixie. She was more than a couple worker she became my friend. Always beautiful inside and out,funny sweet,just a wonderful person to know. She always talked about her family, I always respect her and admire her, her presence is just amazing.. RIP
