Emily DOSCH Obituary
age 28, passed away suddenly on August 22, 2013 at her home in Miami. A talented designer, ambitious businesswoman, and budding philanthropist, Emily brought the same generous humanistic passion to every endeavor. She was a woman who lived for others, always focusing on the human element, whether by donating half the proceeds of her fashion line to charity, planning special events for her family, or contributing to those less fortunate than her. Emily had a heart for helping. She was fortunate to have known success and to have realized the true joy of giving in her brief but poignant life. Ms. Dosch was born on January 17, 1985 in Manhasset, NY. She was raised in Boynton Beach, FL, graduating from the Gulf Stream School, Saint Andrews High School and the University of Miami, where she was finishing her MBA at the time of her passing. Emily was the devoted daughter of Dr. Madeleine DuPree and Dr. Mark Dosch of Boynton Beach FL, and the beloved older sister of Austin Dosch, a medical student at the University of Miami. Besides her immediate family, Emily is survived by her paternal grandmother, maternal great aunt, 15 aunts and uncles and 35 younger cousins who have lost their leader. A Mass will be offered at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by a community celebration of this fine young woman's life at the Pine Tree Country Club. Interment will be private. In keeping with Emily's generous spirit, we ask that if you so desire, memorial contributions be made to the Emily Dosch Fund for the Arts at Gulf Stream School, 3600 Gulf Stream Road, Gulf Stream, FL 33483.

I think she would have been so pleased with the incredible turnout of friends and family offering their support. She was ALWAYS precious and would light up a room with her warmth and smile. Emily was an amazing girl. Although I only had a few years with her in college.. I have some great memories of her. She is someone I respect very much and will always hold in my heart.
