Felix Love Obituary

Family-Placed Funeral Notice

FELIX STEPHENSON LOVE Age 25, was born and raised in the West Palm Beach, Florida area. It is hoped that he passed away peacefully in his sleep, on June 20, 2004. Felix prided himself on his unique individuality, and always “marched to the beat of his own drummer.” Like many young people, he conducted himself as though he was immortal, and bravely faced the adversities in his life. He was sometimes painfully honest, and interpreted the human experience with a spirituality and wisdom beyond his years. We watched him grow, we rejoiced in his laughter, we were proud of the positive choices he made in his short life. Those who will miss him most of all are his mother, Dianne Zoratti Love; brother, Jasen Patrick Love; his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Marilyn Zoratti; his “Aunt Pat”, Patricia Zoratti; his “Uncle Boo”, John Zoratti, and his wife Monica, parents of his cousin, Alexandra; his Godmother, Jackie Jacobson, and her children, Alexis and Natalie, and his “Uncle Alan” Karjalainen, all of the Palm Beaches. He is also survived by his father, Stephen J. Love; half-brother, Christopher Love; both residents of Palm Beach County; “Uncle Sandy”, Jacob Wainwright Love, III, of the Washington D.C. area. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, “Gaggie and Bop Bop”, Virginia and J. Wainwright Love, II. Those who would like to participate in our farewell ceremony, are welcome to join his family at the Del Lago Funeral Home, at 131 South Lakeside Drive, Lake Worth, Florida, on Wednesday, June 23rd, between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. As an alternative to flowers, those who wish might like to give a plant, which will be designated for use in the garden that is being planned to honor his memory. Another option would be a donation to the drug prevention and education program of your preference.
